Right, the site has been inactive for a while. This is because stuff is being sorted across various different aspects (builds, site work etc). Currently, we’re focused on getting a complete AMD build out there. This build will be based on 10.8.0 for now, but we’ll look at getting it updated down the line. We’re going to be rolling this out to testers within a couple of days, and this is where you come in! As we did with Lion, we need people to test out this build before we give it out. The virtual platform is what’s going to trip up the most.
Obviously we can’t go giving it to a load of people, just a few for a couple of days until we’re sure it’s sorted (at which time we’ll either put it out there, or update on the status of it). If you’d like to test this build, contact us via the form below. Make sure the subject is “AMD Test – yourAMDprocesser”. Clearly we need to make sure we get a spread of the different CPUs so give it a shot it you want to give it a try.
I’d like to make clear that this is a test and as such you may end up downloading something which doesn’t work for you, so if you’re on a limited bandwidth I recommend you stay away. The file will be distributed via torrent hosted on our servers, and the .torrent will be emailed back to you in a day or two if you’re chosen to test (along with the exact info we need).
